Portfolio Review for Teens
Emily Carr University is where creators, artists, makers and innovators come to explore and experiment. Our programming offer opportunities to collaborate and connect with fellow creatives and award-winning faculty, whether you're looking to change the world through design, pursue an art practice in film or animation, exhibit in galleries or discover a new medium. Our Portfolio Review for Teens aligns itself with the ECU Admissions Guidelines and helps students showcase who they are as an artist or designer. This workshop will offer strategies, prompts and insights to ensure your intent is clear, your voice comes through, and your work best reflects your creative identity. Guided by instructors and complemented by peer-to-peer feedback this Portfolio Workshop is ideal for students ready to apply to study art and design at the post-secondary level. This workshop does not focus on the creation of new works; students will need examples of work they are considering for their portfolio already prepared.
